

Flatulence/Bloating
Try using Peppermint to relax the stomach muscles. By doing so this allows the body to rid itself of painful digestive gas. Take it in the form of the dried herb by capsule or as a tea.
Indigestion
Peppermint is calms the muscles of the stomach and it helps improve the flow of bile, which the body uses to digest fats.
Digestion
Peppermint tea soothes an upset stomach and can aid digestion. It can be prepared using the infusion method of pouring boiling water over the herb and then steeping it for 3 to 5 minutes. Use 1 to 2 tsp of dried peppermint leaf to 8 oz of hot water. Add honey if you wish.
Oil Application
Peppermint oil applied to the skin, over the stomach area, can help calm an upset stomach and help relieve gas. Dilute the therapeutic grade oil in a carrier oil to prevent possible skin rashes.
Upset stomach....
You can also put one drop of therapeutic grade essential oil of Peppermint into an empty capsule along with a drop of olive oil and take it internally. Peppermint oil should always be diluted and taken in very small amounts if you choose to take it internally.
If you prefer you may place a very small amount, (less than a drop) of Peppermint oil such as the Young Living brand, on the tip of your tongue and in minutes you should have relief.
Stomach Cramps...
To stop painful stomach cramps simply try smelling Peppermint Oil such as the Young Living brand. Merely smelling this oil can neutralize acid stomach in a matter of minutes.
So go ahead and try some Peppermint you may be pleasantly surprised by the results. You may even be one of those blessed people who can throw away those harmful antacid tablets after doing so.
