Blessing your Husband Part 1....

Focus Points for helping you grow your marriage....

These will be taken from the book "Blessing your Husband" by Debra Evans
I will be trying to do one part to focus on a week. Let me know if you enjoy them and if they are helpful.......

*Marriage is the most important human relationship a man and a woman voluntarily commit to in love. It was designed to survive raising kids to
adulthood and all of the stresses and strains involved in family life. In order to succeed, however, the friendship a husband and wife share must be lovingly nourished.

*The blessing of friendship in marriage-the willingness to prefer our husband's companionship above all others-honors this unchanging truth: A wife's loving companionship was designed by God to meet her husband's number one-relationship need.

*Over the years, meeting our husband's God-made need for physical, emotional, and spiritual connection with us will require a certain amount of flexibility, patience, and understanding. As we grow in our ability to nurture our friendship for him while considering his needs and paying attention to his personal preferences.

By doing these things and staying focused on these simple focal points for the week I would love to hear any feedback from those of you who experience change in your marriage and home.
Blessings to you all!

Dearest Lord, let us always remember that marriage is a union that you created between a man and wife. It is your desire to see it grow and flourish. To blossom like a flower. Help me to always be looking for ways to grow my marriage for the better and never the worst. In Jesus name I pray, Amen~
